Bee Huey holds a Professional Degree in Accountancy and is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). She started her career in auditing in Deloitte & Touche, one of the Big Four accounting firms, in 1994, where she audited a diversified portfolio of companies in trading, manufacturing, investment holdings and hotel development.
Subsequently, she joined various industries as an accountant, ranging from trading, manufacturing and healthcare. She has extensive experience in financial accounting, policies and procedures development, setting up accounting systems and internal controls, human resources and administration.
Prior to joining Strategic Consultancy, Bee Huey serves as Deputy Director (Finance) in a healthcare institution. She was also responsible for the finance of its subsidiary and its Endowment funds. She oversaw key functional areas including Cashflow Planning, Systems Implementations, GST, Corporate Tax and Business Office. She was also involved in formulating, reviewing and communicating the workflow, policies and procedures to other departments.
As a Director in Strategic Consultancy, Bee Huey currently manages the accounting and tax businesses of the company.
